Kenai and Soldotna.
Drive through Cooper Landing and Sterling along the Sterling
Highway.
After entering Soldotna, you will pass Fred Meyer on the left.

Meyer.
Drive along Kenai Spur Highway until you pass Kenai Central High
School on the left.
The Challenger Learning Center of Alaska is the next building on the
left just past the High School.
Please use the one-way entrance immediately past the high school
building.
Ample parking is available behind the Challenger Learning Center of
Alaska building.
Average driving time from Anchorage: 3.5 hours**.
**Driving time may be significantly longer during
the winter due to difficult driving conditions along Seward
Highway.
Allow at least one
extra hour driving time during the Alaskan winter or if you are
traveling by bus.
Please note: Few bathroom opportunities exist along the Seward
Highway. During the warmer months, plan to use
the Turnagain Pass rest area on the Seward highway and the Kenai NW
Refuge Visitor Contact Station just past the Russian
River parking lot on the Sterling Highway. Fast food options begin
in Soldotna so we suggest packingample snacks,
plenty of water and sack lunches if appropriate for your party.
