Secondary Students May Place Experiments on the Space Shuttle

The nonprofit National Center for Earth and Space Science Education, in partnership with American Aerospace Advisors, has launched the Student Spaceflight Experiments Program.
 
The program offers school districts an experiment-design competition at the middle school and high school levels that will experiments aboard the Space Shuttle. The experiments will be proposed and designed by students.
 
The competition is delivered in the context of district-wide engagement in STEM education - science, technology, engineering, and math.
 
The program web site contains comprehensive imformation on program objectives, customizing to community need, and how to participate. The timeline to participate is tight.
