Space Invaders

Have your budding scientist imagine what it would be like to explore space on a long term expedition.  How would their transport system work? What would their homes be like?  What would a space city look like?  What would they eat?  This camp is a full week of hands on exploration of what the future of space travel might encompass…all designed for students in K-3rd grades. 

CSI: Moonbase Alpha

Do you like the thrill of a mystery? Team up to solve a crime--a crime that has happened on Moon Base Alpha! All your observation skills will be put to the test as you collect and analyze data.  Learn new forensic science skills which will enable your team to solve the crime.  Activities include: fingerprint analysis, facial recognition, DNA extraction, impression casting, and GPS tracking.  This camp is designed for students in 4th-7th grades.

Students must provide packed lunch.
Times: 8:45am-5:00pm M-F
Cost: $275 per camper, multi-camper discounts, and we're a DPV for IDEA and Connections

Material Science: Build, Bust, and Burn (entering 4th-6th grades, Day or Overnight Options)

We experience materials all day, everyday but do we know anything about them?  Campers will learn about the four main classes of materials.  And what better way to test materials than to build them, burn them, AND bust them (all with adult supervision, of course), as well as other fun building projects! 

Survival Science 101 (entering 7th-9th grades, Day or Overnight Options)

7 Steps of Survival, Fire Science, Shelter Making, Wilderness Safety Awareness, Coldwater Survival, Navigation, Vessel Stability, and a Supervised Overnight Outdoor Survival night!
Certifications earned: Peer Educator in Kids Don’t Float and Alaska Water Wise.

Day camp only students must provide packed lunch.
Day Camp Time: 8:45am-5:00pm M-F
Cost: $275 per camper, multi-camper discounts, and we're a DPV for IDEA and Connections

Overnight Camp is Sunday 5:00pm to Friday 4:00pm
All inclusive
Cost: $500 per camper, multi-camper discounts, and we're a DPV for IDEA and Connections
